Practices for integrating medical equipment using Middleware are included in the National Academy of Healthcare's (NAHZ) methodological guide for digitalization of the medical business
The Digital Innovation Committee of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF HEALTHCARE MANAGERS, led by a group of experts, prepared and published a methodological guide, "Digitalization of the Medical Business: Guidelines for Heads of Medical Organizations, Clinic Directors, and Other Healthcare Executives."
The guideline provides recommendations for the implementation of digital technologies in the medical business, including the transition to electronic document management, the use of artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analysis, and other areas of digital transformation. It also highlights key stages and objectives of digitalization, including:
- • preparing infrastructure for electronic document management;
- • training staff to work with new systems;
- • integrating information systems with medical equipment;
- • implementing telemedicine and other digital services.
