«Mitra» middleware officially included in the MedTech Atlas 2026
In September 2026, the Joint MedTech Committee released the new MedTech Atlas 2026.
The committee was formed by Russia's leading IT associations: RUSSOFT, the Russian Software Products Association «Russian Software» (RSPA "Russian Software") and the Electronic Developers and Manufacturers Association (EDMA).
The MedTech Atlas is a comprehensive analytical report and database. It highlights the growth of local software developers and medical technology companies. This major IT research project follows a strategic agreement on digital healthcare cooperation. The associations signed the partnership earlier this year at CIPR-2026, the country's main IT conference.
The 2026 edition shows strong growth in the Russian medical software industry. The updated Atlas includes data on 510 tech solutions and 23 key competencies of Russian IT developers. Committee experts carefully analyzed the local digital healthcare ecosystem, covering everything from integration platforms and telemedicine to analytical systems and AI products.
Mitra, a universal vendor-neutral middleware developed by RusMedSoft LLC, successfully passed the expert selection. The product is now officially included in the MedTech Atlas 2026 under the "Middleware" category.
Mitra solves a critical healthcare need by ensuring seamless integration between information systems (HIS, LIS) and a wide range of medical devices. The middleware automatically sends tasks to medical equipment and transfers measurements, readings, and vital signs directly into the patient's electronic health record (EHR).
Its inclusion in the Atlas confirms the high technological maturity of the Mitra middleware. Today, the software already connects over 2,000 devices with medical and laboratory information systems across hospitals in Russia and the CIS.
